Day 2 - Frost on the seats in the morning. We were careful to watch out for ice on the roads, but didn't see any.

Day 2 - Snow on the side of the Willow Creek Rd. between Ukiah and Heppner. We did see new snow on various mountain tops. A sign said Willow Creek Rd. closes for the winter on October 15th. We just made it.

Day 2 - It was deer hunting season. Deer skins here on the outskirts of Heppner. It was pretty gross. Clearly someone needs to empty these cans more often.
